Contracts

On placing an order to purchase a pot(s) from us, we will send you an automated e-mail confirming receipt of your order with the relevant details. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a pot, which is accepted by us, when we charge for and despatch the order to you. Any products on the same order for which we have not charged or despatched, do not form part of that contract.

Personalised or inscribed pots

If you have ordered a pot to be personalised or with a presentation or commemorative inscription, we regret that we cannot then offer you a refund or exchange. However, if we have made an error in the completion of the order, we shall correct or remake the items supplied to you. This policy does not affect your statutory rights. If a spelling or other mistake, in your written instructions caused the error, then we will do our best to correct it. However, if the item(s) have to be remade, you will incur the cost of the replacement item, in addition to the original order.

Returns

In the unfortunate event that goods are broken in transit, we will re-despatch the order as soon as the item(s) are available from production. On occasion this may be as long as three weeks. Unwanted items may be returned for refund within 28 days but the postage and packing charge will not be refunded. This does not affect your statutory rights. to cancel the contract, please pack the relevant item securely in the same or equivalent packaging as originally used and send it to us at Canterbury Pottery, 38a Burgate, Canterbury, Kent, CT1 2HW. Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us. To return items please call 01227 452608.

Extraordinary Events

We will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these conditions, if the delay or failure arises from any cause which is beyond our reasonable control. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.

Measurements

All our pots are handmade and individual. Measurements indicated on our website are an estimation of the size and are approximate to the nearest centimetre or half inch.
